In celebration of Women’s History Month, Keep Creating Art proudly presents Not Retired, Reinvented, an inspiring exhibition showcasing the work of six women who have discovered new purpose and deep friendships through art. The exhibition highlights how creativity transcends age, offering opportunities for self-expression, connection, and transformation.
Artists Sharron Allen, Marie Claire Hepp, Andrea Bruno, Elizabeth Pugh, Joanne Kornoelje, and Marilyn Kozak first connected through programs at the Montclair Institute of Lifelong Learning (MILL). Their shared passion for art sparked not only creative expression but also a deep and lasting friendship. As retired professionals, they found in each other a source of inspiration, encouragement, and support—through both joyful moments and life’s challenges.
Their work is a testament to the power of reinvention, proving that creativity has no age limit. Through fearless expression and mutual support, they have cultivated a space where art flourishes, friendships strengthen, and personal stories unfold. Their diverse works reflect resilience, growth, and the endless possibilities that come with embracing change.
